How to Monetize Your Website With AdMaven

AdMaven makes it easy for publishers to monetize their website’s traffic. In this step-by-step tutorial, you will learn how to easily set up advertisements for your website with AdMaven’s proprietary publisher console.

Before you start

Before you start this tutorial, you must have created an AdMaven account.

Setting up

Before creating ad units, you must first set up your site. Hit the New Site button. Now, you must enter your site’s name, your site’s domain name (starting with https://), and choose your site’s vertical. For example, Codeaco’s vertical is “Technology”. YouTube’s vertical would be “Social Media”. Once you have filled out all fields, hit the Save button.

You will be presented with a window, asking for the desired monetization type. Please note that some ad types are restricted based on the amount of traffic you website receives. For now, let’s choose the “Push In Page” advertisement. A push-in-page advertisement shows a small notification-like notice which the user can dismiss. After selecting your desired monitization, hit Get Code.

After clicking the button, you will be presented with your tag code. Whilst this window provides no further instructions than to “embed it in your site”, we found that it’s best to paste this code directly above your ending </body> tag.

There are many reasons why your advertisement may not be showing up. But here are the most common reasons:

  • You’re using an adblocker. Disable it.
  • You did not paste the code in the correct position. If you cannot find the correct placement, contact your account manager
  • You’ve modified your ad code. Make sure you have not altered your ad code.
  • Nothing! You may just be looking for an ad unit that is not always visible. Such as the popunder, or “pop” for short.

Help! Nothing works! If nothing works, contact your account manager, and they’ll try their best to help you out! :)

AdMaven makes getting paid easy and straightforward. AdMaven gives their publishers the ability to choose from many payment methods that include PayPal, Payoneer, bank wire transfer, Bitcoin, Paxum, WebMoney and Epayments. To set it up, go to the “payment methods” section of your dashboard.

And that’s it! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your account manager at
